“Emergency for Humanity”: every euro counts

One month after launching our "Emergency for Humanity " campaign , we have already raised €390,000 in donations. This support is heartfelt and demonstrates your commitment to our newspaper, its celebration, and our shared struggles.

This momentum is continuing throughout the country, where numerous initiatives are emerging. We must continue this effort to reach the necessary million euros by the end of August and meet our cash flow needs. This sum is essential to ensure the complete success of the Fête de l'Humanité, but also to pursue our development projects and face legal action against our newspaper, its management, and its journalists.

This week, once again, we were summoned to court, sued for defamation by a Saudi slave trader based in Paris , who had already been found guilty by the courts. In one of our investigations, we revealed that she exploited her domestic workers. This gag order is an attempt to silence us and, above all, to make invisible the struggle of these exploited women.

This news shows us how much we need a press independent of the powers of money, which continues to carry the struggles of all workers, regardless of their nationality.

To resist the far right, to promote peace among peoples, to give voice to the forces of labor and creation, we need humanity. To reject hatred, to relay the struggles and thoughts of emancipation and social transformation, we need humanity.

Now deployed on four platforms (daily newspaper, magazine, website and, starting in September, season 2 of our online broadcasts via Twitch), we are resolutely participating in the fierce battle of ideas raging in the country and around the world.
